Youth Services
The MSCDURC Youth Services initiative is an active and engaging youth service project for Linden, NJ youth. Youth services is a year-round, voluntary program which engages young adults (ages 16-25) in full-time community service, training, and educational activities. Guided by a staff who serves as mentors and role models, teams of youth called “crews” carry out a wide range of service projects.

The 1013 Chandler Avenue Project was the complete renovation of a multi-family apartment building in Linden NJ with a lot size of 8,002 sq ft. Before the renovation was completed the property was a rundown and drug infested.

School Supplies Giveaway
Annually, families of school-aged children receive free school supplies, while supplies last. At the end of summer, prior to the beginning of the school year hundreds of students receive the necessary supplies needed for a successful school year.
